Emptying the Disposed Key Card Tray
Last Updated 5 years ago
When a guest neglects to remove a key from the kiosk or if guests can use their key cards to check out, the key is retracted and placed into the retracted key tray inside the kiosk. Periodically remove retracted keys from each of your kiosks.
Step 1
Kiosk retains keycard after an incomplete check in at the kiosk or if card fails to encode properly. These cards are stored in the metal tray below the keycard encoder/stacker.
Step 2
Simply pull out the tray, then access the keys.
Step 3
Carefully push the tray back into place, and reinsert the cards into the key card stacker.
Step 4
Ensure that tray is fully pushed back in its place.
