Properly Shutting Down or Restarting an Allegro V5 Kiosk

Occasionally, you may have need to restart your Kiosk. To do so follow the steps below:


1. From the main screen, close the Allegro application by typing "0000" then Enter or scanning your QR code. With the Allegro application closed, you will now have visibility to the Windows desktop.

2. Use either the Restart or Shutdown icon on the desktop to restart or Shutdown the PC.

3. If Restart is selected, the system will reboot and autoload the Allegro software, placing the device in "live" mode and ready for use. If Shutdown is choosen, power the system back on and the system will restart and autoload the Allegro software.
